So it is worth giving a try even if u r on 4 1. I installed kodi 15 2 final release arm version on an android 4 4 2 mx 3 tv box and on an irulu 4 4 2 android tablet but the default repo kodi tv add ons was not installed in the mx3 box used same apk file on both devices. From feedback it doesnt seem to work on 4 1 and below. Kingoroot android is a one click root method for devices running android 4 4 including flagship devices from manufacturers like samsung htc sony and else.
